Keep around a multi-tool pen drive with Ventoy

I like to tinker with different OSs and tools, but if each time I want to do so I need to flash an ISO on a pen drive, it’s quite a hassle. You have a problem? Look for a solution. While doing so, I found a nice tool called Ventoy. With Ventoy, you just have to flash it once on a big enough pen drive with the utility they offer, move the ISOs you want to a partition available after flashing the tool and that’s all. When you start your computer from that drive, it shows you the list of ISOs you have moved to the drive.

Almost any ISO you require can be booted from Ventoy, so it’s quite nice to avoid reflashing it on your drive or just to have a drive with lots of ISOs you frequently need. Right now, for example, I have a pen drive I recently bought with Linux Mint, Arch Linux, Windows 10 and 11, Clonezilla and GParted.

Do you find this tool useful? If you do, don’t forget to share this article. Thank you and until the next one! 🫡
